Poem: Memories

MEMORIES are like TREASURE,

I hold them in my HEART, 

Pull them out when I think back, 

Especially when I’m miles apart! 

The best thing about MEMORIES,

I carry them where I go,

So much to be GRATEFUL, 

And how MY HEART just knows! 

HOME is where MY HEART lay,

That’s where I’ll always belong,

No matter where life takes me, 

Or the new challenges that come along!

My FRIENDS, FAMILY and HOME, 

I carry them in my HEART,

Coz that’s what MEMORIES are,

That’s where it all starts,

And where then is my home now? 

Where do I go? 

It’s where all my MEMORIES come from,

That’s MY HEART and oh! I just know!
