Poem: To Our Dearest Mom

Of all that you’ve taught us and all that you do, Dear mom you are the best gift that God gives a lucky few;

Every child’s mother is special to them, they’d say this too, But our heart knows there is so much more to you;

The best we like about you is the silent sacrifices you’d do, Sometimes hiding it, recognized by just a few!

Many do not acknowledge it, some also ignore what they knew, But your children have seen it and learnt from you,

That, “No matter what others say or how badly they hurt you; good to others we should continue to do;

Wherever we go and whatever we’d do, we’ll do it with love… Because you told us to!” <3
