The Holy Rosary – A powerful weapon against all evil

The Holy Rosary – A powerful weapon against all evil

“Always stay close to this Heavenly Mother, because she is the sea to be crossed to reach the shores of eternal splendour”

~St. Padre Pio

Why pray the rosary?

Not many realize the power of The Holy Rosary. Miracles happen each time you recite THE HOLY ROSARY OF OUR BLESSED MOTHER MARY. Undoubtedly it is A VERY POWERFUL WEAPON against the evil forces. This gift has been given to us so that all of us can be saved. If we make it a habit to observe the power of this weapon, we will see the wonders it does in our lives, if we commit to saying this beautiful prayer every day. The Holy Rosary was made known globally after Our Lady’s promise to the three Shepard children Lucia Abobora, 9, and her cousins, Jacinta and Francisco Marto, 6 and 7 at the tiny village of Fatima, Portugal. It is heartwarming to see the many DIVINE MIRACLES that have taken place because of the devotion to The Lady of The Rosary. She will intercede, guide and watch over you lovingly. for she never fails at keeping her promise. Her apparition to these three shepherd children is a miracle that has changed many hearts and given unbelievers the grace of finding God and wisdom of accepting the truth about heaven and hell. Our Blessed Mother Mary is the path that leads us all to Jesus and ultimately to Heaven. All that is asked of us is to persevere in praying with love, humility and deep child-like faith.

(Vision, 1945) “Then she shows me her Rosary and says, ‘ This has saved you. Persevere to the end.’ After a brief silence, she adds, The prayer is to be made known everywhere.

~Messages from the Lady of All Nations, Amsterdam

Our beloved Mother Mary promises us graces through reciting the rosary and in her exact words, she says: “I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary. The Rosary shall be a powerful armour against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.”

“When you say your Rosary, the angels rejoice, the Blessed Trinity delights in it, my Son finds joy in it too, and I myself am happier than you can possibly guess. After the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, there is nothing in the Church that I love as much as the Rosary.”

~Our Lady to Blessed Alan de la Roche

How is The Holy Rosary recited?

Source: Missionaries of Divine Revelation, Weblink-https://www.mdrevelation.org/how-to-recite-the-holy-rosary/

There are the basic elements of reciting the rosary (The sign of the cross, The I believe, Our Father, Hail Mary’s, Litany of the holy rosary, The Memorare, Haily Holy Queen, prayers after the rosary) all of these today can be easily found on any app or website online. I particularly love the article: https://www.mdrevelation.org/how-to-recite-the-holy-rosary/, that explains in detail how the rosary is recited. While that is one way of reciting The Holy Rosary, this post presents an alternative beautiful combination of prayers that could be incorporated in The Daily Holy Rosary. Adding prayers to the traditional Holy Rosary is a way to make the whole process of praying more meaningful.

The sign of the cross – In the name of The Father & of The Son & of The Holy Spirit. AMEN—

THE ANGELUS – 12p.m / 7p.m prayer

Although not part of The Holy Rosary by itself, it is always a good practice to start the Holy Rosary by reciting THE ANGELUS

The Angel of the Lord declared unto MaryAnd she was conceived by the power of The Holy Spirit
Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with you, Blessed are you amongst women and Blessed is the Fruit of your womb JesusHoly Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us, sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen
Behold the handmaid of the LordBe it done unto me according to thy word
Hail Mary…Holy Mary…
And the Word was made fleshAnd dwelt amongst us
Hail Mary…Holy Mary…
Pray for us O Holy Mother of GodThat we may be made worthy, of the promises of Christ
LET US PRAY:
Pour forth, we beseech Thee O Lord, Thy Grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross; be brought to the Glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen

I Believe:

I believe in God, the father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again.

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

The Holy Catholic Church,

The communion of saints,

The forgiveness of sins,

The resurrection of the body,

And the life everlasting. Amen.

The Our Father – x1

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name;

Thy kingdom come;

Thy will be done;

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation;

but deliver us from evil.

(For thine is the kingdom,

the power and the glory,

for ever and ever.

Amen.) – optional

Hail Mary: x3

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with you, Blessed are you amongst women and Blessed is the Fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us, sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be:

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to The Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Hail! Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, Hail! our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

“Even if you are on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerers do who practice black magic, and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil, sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and will save your soul, if—and mark well what I say—if you say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until death for the purpose of knowing the truth and obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins.”

~Saint Louis de Montfort

DID YOU KNOW OF THIS MIRACLE THAT TOOK PLACE BECAUSE OF DEVOTION TO THE HOLY ROSARY?

Ted Bundy was one of the worst serial killers in history.  On the night of January 15, 1978, at 3:00 am, Bundy murdered two girls in the Chi Omega sorority house at Florida State University – he entered the third room but fled when he saw a girl clutching a rosary in her hands.  Later the girl explained that she had promised her grandmother to pray the rosary every night when she went to bed, even if she fell asleep while praying.  Years later, when Bundy was awaiting his execution, he asked for a priest. The priest, Fr. Esper, asked him what happened that night. Bundy said he intended to murder the girl, but “some mysterious power prevented him.”
